I am not a frequent visitor of Victoria Secret, for reasons that is irrelevant here. I happened to be at one this weekend for holiday shopping, and I was shocked to find how many men there are, young and old. I even saw an older man with a high-school-looking teenager who I assumed to be his son walking around in the lingerie section.

I happened to overheard this when a man rushed to a female store assistant for help:

“I know exactly what she wants. I actually know her size. It’s 34C. It’s for my wife.”

I did not get to see this eager man’s face. But judging from his tone, he knew what he was doing, I guess. But I laughed to myself a bit. Actually knowing her size is something unusual to men? He sounded so proud when he said that. And the last sentence of “it’s for my wife” sounded a bit just too.. extra to me. Was he trying to express his loyalty, or to clear the fact that he’s not a pervert buying lingerie for his mother or daughter?

I don’t know if it is true that most men are usually lost in the maze of VS puzzling their female lovers’ size, or what exactly turns them on the most vs. what she-s will wear. But I cannot exactly blame them for being so confused, for girls are picky, and may I say, change their minds, and also sizes, almost constantly?

Ah.. Almost forgot. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Happy Hanukkah. And for the political correct folks, Happy Holidays!
